Erica Robinson is her mother who confirmed and announced the death of her daughter on her social media profiles on which she announced the news concerning her on the 3rd day of February. She posted her announcement and revealed she was 18 years old and her daughter was killed by the shot of a gun. In her blog post, Erica Robinson uploaded a photo of her t-shirt and a photo she had taken alongside her father who passed away. Both were wearing the same red t-shirts. Police officials discovered that Gatlin was killed at the intersection of Barnes Street in Jackson. The incident and accident was reported at 8:40pm on Thursday evening.
