Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows, such as "Christy" which is a story of a girl named Christy Huddleston. Also, she is known for appearing in the titular role in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin's acting journey began when she was just seven when her aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after her children Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' She began acting professionally after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing substantial part-time roles in the TV and film industries. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer, as well as a dancer. Her sister, who died due to Lupus aged 19 inspired her to become the Lupus National spokesperson.
