Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha admitted her transgender identity at the time she entered high school. Sasha had to face some tough times however, she knew that her family would support him and music was a way to help. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and have recently become an official duo and have been playing in open mics as well as different venues around the city. The Voice coaches didn't discuss Sasha's history, however Jim and he shared their story before they performed. Both Jim and Sasha discussed the music they like, as well as the way Sasha took up guitar for the first time when she was six. Because his father was an expert music teacher, he was better able to grasp the concept. Sasha was a woman born in the United States and was struggling to establish his own identity while he was young. In a recent Instagram post she spoke out about the difficulties he faced. Jim however, felt overwhelmed by emotion as the post explained how he was unable to be present during the difficult moments. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a little girl when she was born. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha made public his trans identity during the first year of high school when he began to transition from male to female. Sasha stated in Instagram his status as the third transgender person to have been on the show. He said he felt honored and proud to represent the entire trans community.
