Gilbert has chosen not to open up about her private life after she discovered that she was gay. She was dating Johnny Galecki, her actor co-star during the beginning of her career before she realized that she was gay. Sara Gilbert began dating Allison Adler. The couple broke apart and Sara Gilbert made her public make her public shortly prior to launching the talk-show she hosted. Sara Gilbert was married from 2014 to 2019.
